An ageing WordPress site was rebuilt around a modern layout system while keeping the existing content and structure intact.
Project goal: Modernise the design and make the site usable on mobile without losing existing content.
The Challenge
The original site used a cramped multi-sidebar layout, small type, and was effectively unusable on phones.
The Solution
A rebuilt page system with a single-column content spine, generous spacing, a modern type scale, and fully responsive sections.
Design approach: Content-first: audit existing pages, keep what works, remove decoration, and rebuild with a consistent grid and component set.
